Thanksgiving and updates

Ok, so it's difficult to keep up on this blog without internet. We are sorry for that as we'd like to keep this more updated.

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We went back to Denver for a full week. We had dinner with both sets of parents at Lena's house where her mother made a delicious lunch/dinner. Later we visited with Dustin's Uncle Lew and Gram. Lena and Ashley spent the entire evening before Thanksgiving baking cookies, cupcakes and fudge (which had a chocholate chip mishap) that all came out soooo good. Friday, Ryan and Lynn came back over to Lena's parent's home and we played games and drank, a lot haha. We had such a wonderful time with all of them that night and the next. Dustin was finally able to fly during this trip, something he hadn't been able to do since our wedding in July! There are a lot of pictures from this trip, although they are all on Lena's mom's camera. :-) Which should be e-mailed to Lena shortly.....right mom? We left on Tuesday the 1st and were lucky coming and going to be able to get on all of our flights with no problem. We can't wait to get back out there and see everyone again.

Since coming back from that trip we have been busy cleaning up the place, looking for jobs and spending time on the beach. The weather has been very nice even though we had a few "cold" days. (45-50*) Today it was very foggy but 68! We love the weather and can't wait for Spring when it will start to get hot, and we can go in the ocean! There were a few storms recently which has made the beaches very interesting. After going on three different beaches we have found thousands of sea shells! And each beach has different ones. It has been a lot of fun walking around and collecting them. We even found starfish and sand dollars!

Yesterday while walking around on a marina we got to see dolphins playing around in the water! It was so amazing to watch. We stayed out there for about 45 minutes watching them jump out of the water and splash around. We of course had forgotten our camera (not thinking we'd be able to see such a sight!), but we did overhear a waiter telling some people that they come out that way almost every day at sunset. We will definantly be heading back over there soon. It was also one of the most incredible sunsets we had ever seen!

Both of us are still looking for jobs right now, please keep your fingers crossed that something comes up for us and fast!

That should be it for now. We should be back soon with pictures, and hopefully the good news of jobs!!

Here are some of the sea shells, it finally let me put a picture on!

These birds are every where, and noisy when you chase them...
